We invite you on a unique journey deep into the Amazon jungle - living with a Shipibo shaman's family, undergoing a traditional plant dieta, and participating in sacred ceremonies. This is not tourism. It is a deeply healing and transformative path in the homeland of this medicine.
You will work within the field of some of the most powerful shamans and true masters of their art. The expedition combines body, breath, and energy work that defines PRAVILO WORLD's approach with the ancient wisdom of Amazonian traditions.

Maestro Gilberto Mahua
Papa Gilberto
Maestro Gilberto - 77 years old. Over his lifetime, he has led thousands of ceremonies and remains a living legend of the Amazon, one of the last masters of the old school still accessible today. His icaros carry the pure force of the divine.
He is the youngest of five brothers, all trained in shamanism since childhood. His father, grandfather, and ancestors were powerful healers. This is an ancient family where the knowledge of medicine and healing has been passed down for centuries from grandfather to grandson.
At the age of 11, Maestro Gilberto undertook his first dieta - lasting more than a year. He recalls how difficult it was at such a young age, yet this early initiation into the world of sacred plants shaped who he became. From childhood, he and his brothers followed strict dietas of the Master Plants under the guidance of their elder brother. He could not play with other children - his path was one of devotion and training.
The first plants he dieted with were Ayahuma, Bobinsana, Waira Caspi, and Chiric Sanango. Later came dozens more.
He continues to walk his Path to this day - more than 65 years of pure practice. His ability to channel and direct the energy of the plants is remarkably strong. You can feel it the moment you sit with him in ceremony.

Based in California, over 12 years studying Amazonian medicine with tribal shamans of the old school. A specialist in emotional intelligence, she weaves together a modern coaching approach with the ancient technologies of Amazonian healers.

Founders of PRAVILO WORLD. For over 12 years, they have been dedicated to human healing and unlocking potential, guiding transformational retreats. In the past 3 years, they have been studying Amazonian medicine and completing plant dieta processes with master plants.
The Program
Living with a Shipibo shaman's family deep in the Amazon jungle. The shamanic diet (Sama) - an ancient Amazonian practice thousands of years old. A retreat of strict discipline where one follows restrictions in food, communication, and stimulation to connect with a master plant.
